Free Comic Book Day, Saturday May 4th is almost here!  Braden and I will be at:

The Million Year Picnic (Harvard Square, Cambridge, MA)
11am - 1pm

New England Comics (Coolidge Corner, Brookline, MA)
2pm - 5pm

Free Adventure Time sketches!  48-pages of Free Comics from Kaboom! What a day!

May the 4th be with you.

Original art of the first 5 pages of Adventure Time #15 are up on ebay!
Issue 15 marks the first time we (series artists Shelli Paroline and Braden Lamb) have done traditional art for the interior of the comic. All the art we’ve done for previous issues has been entirely digital. What does this mean? Just that this is the first time original art has been available from our work on the feature storyline! Pretty flippin’ rare and wonderful, eh?

zackules:

It’s Earth Day, so I made a post about being a “Green Barbarian” on First Second’s blog. The original post is here!

Good news, everyone!
Since Boston Comic Con has been cancelled, Shelli and I will be doing a signing at Comicopia in Kenmore Square, Boston on Sunday 4/21, 12-3 pm. We’ll also be selling the Boston exclusive print you see above, and doing some sketches for the young fans.
Hope to see you there!

fanartica:

Hey everyone! We’re very excited to say that Fanartica will be at Boston Comic Con** this weekend, April 20-21, 2013.

We also can’t wait to share with you a little project we’ve been working on. We’ve gathered up some of our favorite Fanartica pieces (as well as some new pieces we’ve never posted before) and printed out a beautiful full color book*.

So swing by table AA707 in Artist Alley and say hello. Not only will many of our artists have prints and books available but we just plain like meeting new people.

**If you’re wondering— the great Captain America and Bucky above is the exclusive Boston Comic Con t-shirt design by Tim Sale:

I’m humbled to be in the company exhibited in this collection. Check it out at Boston Comic Con!
